Description
The QA Specialist will join a skilled team devoted to providing excellence in software testing and validation, ensuring quality products and services are provided to our customers. Working closely with the Security Operations Centre and Development team, the position will be responsible for creating and executing test suites across our product portfolio.
Responsibilities
The QA Specialist will be responsible for the design, creation, maintenance, documentation, execution and reporting of manual test suites. This includes feature, regression and system-level testing. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for investigating and reproducing field issues.
Requirements
- Creating test plans and documenting test results
- Experience executing functional, regression and system-level test cases
- Investigating issues to determine root cause
- Issue reproduction
Additional Skills required
- Thorough understanding of Network and Application protocols
- Experience in Deep Packet Inspection technologies including behavioural-based and signature-match detection techniques
- Proficient with command-line Linux systems administration
- Experience automating security and performance testing is an asset
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience in a Quality Assurance position
